For Glenn and Letitia Nuttall, Eyre Cottage is the combination of two passions, art and furniture under the one

roof. Many hours of hard work have gone into the cottages restoration, the premises now have an upholstery

workroom and an art gallery showroom for original art work and exhibitions.

Glenn Nuttall is a craftsman upholsterer with 20 years experience. Serving his apprentiship at Ballantynes, he has

worked locally and also in England. Here he learnt specialized training for antique recovery using traditional

methods. This included restoration of chairs used at Westminster Abbey during Queen Elizabeth's

Coronation in 1953.

He is able to re-upholster all types of furniture such as lounge suites, chairs and ottomans. He can also re-design

existing pieces. Glenn can assist clients with the suitability and quality of fabrics, options for padding and support,

modern and traditional materials, fitted or loose covers, accessories and trims.

Glenn and Letitia are excited about Eyre Cottage and having a location where everyone is welcome to come in

and browse for ideas, fabrics and accessories, or just view their furniture being recovered.
